MONNING ENDORSES ALEJO FOR ASSEMBLY
Assemblyman Bill Monning, D-Carmel, has endorsed Monterey County attorney and Watsonville Mayor Pro Tem Luis Alejo for the 28th Assembly District.
Alejo is a former high school teacher and works as a staff attorney for Monterey County Superior Court. Alejo is seeking to replace Assemblywoman Anna Caballero, who is expected to run for the 12th Senate District next year.
The 28th Assembly District includes Salinas, Watsonville, Chualar, Gonzales, Soledad, Greenfield, King City and other parts of South Monterey County.
